The evening was draping over Bridgeport now, Marshmallow had gone to lay down, and the bell tower I could hear toll it’s bells for me to chase sleep as well. I smiled, knowing Mathias wouldn’t join me till much later, “I suppose this is the moment where you head out, huh?” I said lightly. I could hear him chuckle softly from under his long raven hair as he looked the other way, “Yeah…yeah it is.” “What do you do out there anyway?” I asked, hoping maybe I’d get a solid answer and not a vague one this time. He shook his head and stood up, “Business, things I must do. Go to sleep, angel, I’ll go to bed in a while.” I rolled my eyes with a grin, “Okay, just be careful out there. Never know what you’ll run into, like Vampires or worse.” I waited to hear a reply from him, instead he just smiled slightly.
