A Segment of Jessica's Backstory
One of Jessie Davis’s most haunting memories in her past was of a young woman named Marion Degrassi, a name she gave her since she really had none of her own. Marion Degrassi was never human, never breathing, and never was able to feel the world the way Jessie did, yet she valued her for trying to show her to be alive.
Before Jessica arrived at the Asylum at the age of 18 because of a traumatizing childhood, Marion, a simple phantom that you can touch with the skin of cold and wet with a sickly sweet smell in the air was a residual of an evil that had once laid there. She could kill, posses, and carried the powers that a regular ghost could not. Her world was made of simple nightmares, twisted dimensions of the hospital, that she once sent Jessie without seeing into her soul. Once she saw the fragility within Jessie’s heart, she swore to protect her as an apology till the day she was discharged from the hospital. Jessie, a human, was Marion’s only “friend”, and guardian.
The day Jessie was to be signed out, was a day gone wrong for over 500 patients and staff. She was one of the mere survivors of a strange gas leak. Jessie personally believed it was Marion’s anger that set off the gas pipes, the anger carried from the male nurses that would take advantage of Marion’s sweet Jessica; Jessie Davis was 1 of 5 people that was able to get out of the asylum.
Now that Jessie is married, she only carries the story of her undead friend within her heart and shares it to no one. Now and then she will travel 15 miles back to the old town where the gas leak was released, back at the hospital of ash and dispair that bared the many hallucinations and personal demons people held inside.
Sometimes when Jessie stands outside the grave of the hospital, she can still hear Marion’s double voiced smoothness call out her name to let her know she still protects her, that she never truly left, and that she is no longer held down but is walking with Jessie with each step of her human life to keep that protective promise that was burned years ago….

Oh wow, that's messed up but man that's one hell of a great background! Not that I'd want it personally, but i'm simply saying as far as creating it. Well done!
