The Vampire Master and His Pet - Part 3
Mira looked about in her new home, sitting upon her master's floor since she was afraid to touch anything without his permission. She liked the Vampires she seen so far, as they were nice, but she had her suspicions about Jacoby. So looked about the room, gazing at the books, she smiled as she was a major bookworm. "Maybe this won't be so bad after all...I wonder what kind of stories he has here..." she mumbled softly. Then a voice startled her imagination, bringing her back to reality, "Where's your Master, little one? Did he leave you all by your lonesome?" Mira glanced at the entrance way, seeing it was Jacoby with a cocky look about his expression. She stood up from the stone floor as she replied, "He went to do an errand, he'll be back soon." Jacoby huffed as he walked towards her and grasped her arm, though the fairy quickly shoved him without thinking, "Hey, look here you mindless bloodsucker, you do not touch me, got it?!" Jacoby laughed as he shoved her against the ebony table behind her, causing her to grunt as it hit her wings and caused pain up her spine. She looked up at him in horror and tried to struggle out of his grip, "Tough little pixie aren't you? Now you listen to me, I'm much stronger than you, you cannot fight me. My my my, Mathias picked out such a beautiful pet...I'm so jealous of his ways for finding a beauty such as you..." he said sensually, his breath hitting her face with a scent of stale blood. "Stop it, you're hurting me..." she muttered with a tear leaving her eye. "Jacoby..." A deep voice was heard from the entry way. He turned around, seeing it was Mathias with his eyes narrowed at him and his arms crossed in an agitated manner, "Get off her, leave the fairy be. Besides you are needed in the armory downstairs, I suggest you see to your calling before I make you leave this coven, is that understood?" Jacoby smirked as he let the fairy go and walked passed Mathias, shoving his shoulder lightly but enough to make his ruler a bit angrier. Mathias then quickly rushed over to Mira, seeing the tears fall from her eyes and trembling like a baby fawn. He stroked her cheek gently and whispered softly to her, "I wasn't going to let him hurt you, if he does that again you yell for me, understand?" Mira nodded slowly, not glancing up at him. Instead she fell in his arms and wept heavily, Mathias held her closely and ran his nails along her back to ease her.

The Vampire Master and His Pet - Part 2
Lucretia sighed as she adjusted herself upon the throne, "Where is he? He should have been back by now...he even missed the council meeting which is highly unlike him." Jacoby chuckled to her worrying, "Does it matter? He's a Vampire Lord, he can take care of himself. Besides, if something had happened to him -" "Don't talk like that," She snapped at the vampire beside her, "He's my brother, and your leader, you can at least have some faith he'll return." He shook his head, "Faith, hah! When has he ever lived up to his responsibilities like an actual leader?" "At least I know how to rule the realm of Vampires, Jacoby, unlike you. I believe know what my responsibilities are." Lucretia and Jacoby looked up, seeing Mathias walk in with a stranger just a few steps behind. Lucretia stood up quickly as she stared in awe, "Is that...how did you...was she alone?" Jacoby observed the female behind Mathias, his amber eyes flashing with curiousness, "Obviously she's one of the Fae...but is a very pretty one at that." The fairy looked the other way, seeing Jacoby was staring her down like she'd be his next meal. Mathias nodded, "Yes she was alone, so no one will come looking for her. She will be staying with us for a while as my pet, I hope you two do not mind."

The Vampire Master and His Pet - Part 1
Several years of being on her own, Mira wasn’t one to say she liked to be a fairy. In fact her family rules were strict and had actually costed her welcome there where her real home was. It was forbidden to fall in love with humans, and she told her cousin this many times, but decided to help her cousin leave the Fae Country anyway so that at least someone was happy. Her heart was overwhelmed with homesickness, and the fact of not even knowing where she was other than she was in a garden of beauty where humans had visited during the day, the feeling of loss and betrayal consumed her. “I should have told, Layliene no in the beginning…” She shook her head as she was about to slip off the stump to sleep in the hollow tree nearby, “What am I to do now that I have no where to call my own or even the right skills to survive?” A rustling in the bushes was heard, but she paid no mind, “Go away human,” Mira said firmly, “The Zombies, Werewolves, and Vampires are out this time of eve, go while you still can…” To her surprise she had heard chuckling, “Human am I? Not hardly, my sweet fairy. I thought you all had gone extinct by now.” The voice was deep and soothing to Mira as her eyes widened. She turned towards the columns of the garden and gasped, “No…” The stranger stared at her with his silver eyes glistening as he scanned her form before him, observing her beauty and innocence. Mira went to run, but before she could make it even 3 steps, the Vampire pushed her against the column - though not to hurt her - and covered her mouth as she was about to scream. He loved her eyes, how crystal blue they were and how rare of a fairy she was. A fairy’s blood was the most succulent of any other being, that was one of the main reasons of their hiding and extinction. He smiled at her kindly, though Mira found it quite intimidating, “You are lucky I even found you, another Vampire would not have granted you the same Mercy. Just listen to me, listen to my proposal…” He lowered his hand from her mouth as he sensed he now had control over her, circling her like a vulture with his hand now upon her stomach as he held her from behind. She trembled in his dark grasp, but what could she do? “I have an offer for you, my butterfly. I can keep you safe, give you a place to stay, keep you warm, and overall just care for you…but you must do something for me in return.” Mira closed her eyes tightly, fearing what he’d ask for. “Go on…” she said nervously. The Vampire smiled as he leaned more to her ear and whispered in a sensual tone, “Everything about you will be mine…you will allow me to feed from your sweet neck at least twice a week. I will be your Master, you will love no one else but me. Do we have an agreement?” Mira’s heart skipped a few beats, what he asked for wasn’t what she expected but it was much more than she could imagine dealing with. Though he was right, she was lucky to be found by one to even show an ounce of kindness. She exhaled deeply to gather what courage that was left within her, “You will not kill me…will you?” She heard him laugh again, making her uneasy. “Why would I? Would an owner kill their pet? I do not think so.” He replied. She realized she was naive, but not enough to know if a predator was leading her into a trap. “I-I accept your offer…” She said with her voice shaking with each syllable. “Excellent. Allow me to show you the way o your new home…” His voice sounded more friendly this time, but Mira was going to keep her eyes open in case her sense of judgement was to let her down.

D'Lanncrae Legacy
Mathias’ Side: Chapter 1 – Part 5
Jessica may have wanted to sleep, but I was not going to let her slip so easily without a little spar. As I came back from changing into my night ware, I quietly reached for one of the pillows upon the bed. All the while her back was turned; a grin crept upon my face as I saw the opportune time to make haste for a preemptive strike with the pillow at hand. As I quickly raised my hands into the air clutching onto the pillow, she turned abruptly as to hit me with another pillow that her small petite hands carried, though as I had planned, I made the first hit. I heard her laugh that angelic laugh I fell in love with those many years ago. She lowered her friendly weapon and dropped it to the floor, “Alright, Mathias, you won. You’re so sneaky, I have no idea how you even do that…” I tossed the pillow back towards the headboard as I then walked slowly towards her, narrowing my eyes at her, “I won did I? And what did I win exactly?” Her eyes widened as I had backed her up against the mattress, sensually crawling on top of her. A smile appeared upon her lips, “A cupcake maybe…?” I shot her a loving but playful glare, “A cupcake? Jessica, my beautiful bride, do you think a cupcake would satisfy my lingering hunger for you?” I heard her giggle as she grazed her hand up from my chest to my neck, “Then what about me being your reward, would that be better?” I chuckled and kissed her lips, enduring her natural warmth that my own body lacked for centuries, “Yes, you’re much better than anything on this planet; and much more intoxicating than a cupcake.” She laughed again and deepened our kiss. Tonight I was going to make sure her nightmares dissipated, that tonight she’d only dream of us.
