Several years of being on her own, Mira wasn’t one to say she liked to be a fairy. In fact her family rules were strict and had actually costed her welcome there where her real home was. It was forbidden to fall in love with humans, and she told her cousin this many times, but decided to help her cousin leave the Fae Country anyway so that at least someone was happy. Her heart was overwhelmed with homesickness, and the fact of not even knowing where she was other than she was in a garden of beauty where humans had visited during the day, the feeling of loss and betrayal consumed her. “I should have told, Layliene no in the beginning…” She shook her head as she was about to slip off the stump to sleep in the hollow tree nearby, “What am I to do now that I have no where to call my own or even the right skills to survive?” A rustling in the bushes was heard, but she paid no mind, “Go away human,” Mira said firmly, “The Zombies, Werewolves, and Vampires are out this time of eve, go while you still can…” To her surprise she had heard chuckling, “Human am I? Not hardly, my sweet fairy. I thought you all had gone extinct by now.” The voice was deep and soothing to Mira as her eyes widened. She turned towards the columns of the garden and gasped, “No…” The stranger stared at her with his silver eyes glistening as he scanned her form before him, observing her beauty and innocence. Mira went to run, but before she could make it even 3 steps, the Vampire pushed her against the column - though not to hurt her - and covered her mouth as she was about to scream. He loved her eyes, how crystal blue they were and how rare of a fairy she was. A fairy’s blood was the most succulent of any other being, that was one of the main reasons of their hiding and extinction. He smiled at her kindly, though Mira found it quite intimidating, “You are lucky I even found you, another Vampire would not have granted you the same Mercy. Just listen to me, listen to my proposal…” He lowered his hand from her mouth as he sensed he now had control over her, circling her like a vulture with his hand now upon her stomach as he held her from behind. She trembled in his dark grasp, but what could she do? “I have an offer for you, my butterfly. I can keep you safe, give you a place to stay, keep you warm, and overall just care for you…but you must do something for me in return.” Mira closed her eyes tightly, fearing what he’d ask for. “Go on…” she said nervously. The Vampire smiled as he leaned more to her ear and whispered in a sensual tone, “Everything about you will be mine…you will allow me to feed from your sweet neck at least twice a week. I will be your Master, you will love no one else but me. Do we have an agreement?” Mira’s heart skipped a few beats, what he asked for wasn’t what she expected but it was much more than she could imagine dealing with. Though he was right, she was lucky to be found by one to even show an ounce of kindness. She exhaled deeply to gather what courage that was left within her, “You will not kill me…will you?” She heard him laugh again, making her uneasy. “Why would I? Would an owner kill their pet? I do not think so.” He replied. She realized she was naive, but not enough to know if a predator was leading her into a trap. “I-I accept your offer…” She said with her voice shaking with each syllable. “Excellent. Allow me to show you the way o your new home…” His voice sounded more friendly this time, but Mira was going to keep her eyes open in case her sense of judgement was to let her down.
